Love Donna Flora! Benefit

I said previously that I was participating in this event and linked the main blog that talks about it. A Flickr has also been added with images from the different vendors and what they are selling. With over 90 or however many vendors present, and with seeing the booths along the path, be assured, this is a rather impressive fair. For my own part, I have updated one of my tattoo sets and built another tattoo set that compliments it. I also made a quick and little We Can Do It calf tattoo to help support the fundraising, and for the heck of it, made a quick little outfit. All the ad images below, as well as links to different information. Enjoy!

Preview!

I don't have very much in terms of L that I can offer to support causes or sims or people or such within SL. But I am a  creator, and I do like to help. For that reason, when it became known to me that another secondlife creator was in need of funding for cancer treatment, I was willing to investigate. And after my investigation, I offered to join in.

So, later this month, I will be joining a number of other creators in the Love Donna Flora event. You can find out more here: http://lovedonnaflora.wordpress.com/

Because I want to have content special to the event, at least for the length of it, I looked to the shop as a way of gaining inspiration, then went over some other ideas I've had in the past. And... ha ha ha... oh yes.

For the event I will have my new Lace Tattoo series. They will be able to be worn on their own or matched with some elements from my ColorFade series. I will also probably have a few others ready to go, but that will depend on RL work. Check out my flickr for further previews, though a teaser is below...

Preview and Possible?

First, the possible.

I know that scales in a wide variety are highly sought. So I want to keep making scales that meet all possible needs. However, sometimes, getting scaling to match up at the seams is, to be blunt, a right pain in the ass. I've also seen times were people don't mind, because it's one of those things that have to be seen up close.

So, I'm considering making a line that is scaling, with smooth and easy fades, that allows the seams to be shown. As you can see. Anyone who would like this tattoo FREE!! ... Drop me a NC/IM stating that you would like the 'Scale Fade Series' and what base color scales you would like. (I have new scale patterns to play with. There's even some with algae on them.) I might even be convinced to build a mer tail.... if someone would like to sponsor it... (I'm a cheap sponsor. I promise.)

Now, for the PREVIEW...

I had an idea. Inspired even. Then promptly looked through marketplace to check that it wasn't overdone. And it's not. So! I will soon present... Fantasy Freckles...

True to my typical form, they will be copy/mod/no trans and set in white so that you can tint them to whatever color needs you may have. There will be Heavy (full body), Medium (Partial), and Light (Minimal).  And, as always, you will be welcome to contact to get something customized out of it to fit your specific needs if unable to accomplish with what is provided (for example, if you decide you want a light face, medium torso and heavy legs all in one tattoo...).

Freckles should be out by the end of the week. Fading scales will be based upon demand/interest.

Have other fantasy or custom requests or ideas? Feel free to drop me a thought. If I use your idea to create a tattoo, I'll send you a copy free before posting to marketplace.

New Release: ColorFade

Promised so long ago and finally tweaked enough to satisfy me... I present, ColorFade!

With multiple options and attention to detail, this tattoo can be a simple and effective add on to make any look come together with an extra hint of color. Pile the tattoos for a darker fade or pick colors close to the skin tone for something barely noticeable.

Preview: Color Fades

I've been trying to get seams to disappear for the past two days, but I think I've finally got it close enough that I'm near ready. So, I present to you, color fades!

Put on a skin of choice, put on the white based color fading tattoo, go to edit, and tint to the preferred color. Toss on some scales or a skin tint set (or both, why not?) and you can create an even more unique color blend then before. There's no shading, so what it covers, it covers, but there will be a few different options included to help get the perfect results.

Should be on Marketplace by the end of the week. Watch for updates!
