New Release! ... Kinda.

If you know me at all, or just look at my profile, you'll see that I am an RPer. RP is really where I started with my tattoo creation, and it's where I continue to look for ideas even today. The concept was to create tattoos that could be used on any skin to allow people to create their favorite fantasy avs in a way that might otherwise be out of their reach simply do to the cost of (often amazing) fantasy skins. Skins are HARD if you didn't know, and very worthy of the price asked for them. That said, I didn't want limited funds to prevent RPers from playing certain races.

To this day, my hallmark items are my scales. And, yes, in the future, there is yet another scale item that will be coming.

However, as I said, I'm an RPer.

So as a way to give back to the community that has given me so much, I have created a special edition of some select tattoos. The color set is inspired from the sim itself.

Product Information:

All packs sold on the Marketplace will include Omega, System and TMP. Because Slink and Maitreya can be applied via Omega, I did not see reason to make extra appliers (though I can given time and a special request). Per norm and original, all tattoos are Unisex. (Don't know Omega? Look here! )

Because of the kind sponsorship of a friend, Eglantine Broome ( <3 ), I am able to offer these tattoos with 100% going to the sim to assist with funding a new sim and build. These tattoos will only be available for a limited time. How long? I haven't decided yet.

I will also do the following alterations. Simply buy the original product, then send a polite IM or NC with the request of which tattoo and what alteration you would like. If you would like it in TMP, it will be added to the existing style mode hud, and there will be an additional 10L charge, due to the extra cost of creating a preview image. Please understand, while these alterations can be quick, I am often in the middle of something else so it may take awhile, though rarely more than 48 hours.

Faun Spots: Solid color, purple/blue, half intensity/faded
     - No Face, 20L per tattoo, made in system and omega
     - With Face, 30L per tattoo, made in system and omega

Tiger Stripes: Solid color, purple/blue (either intensity)
     - 20L per tattoo, made in system and omega

Runner Paint, Mer Scales
     - System layer, no face tattoo. 0L

I think that covers everything. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me in world at Eve Gaelyth. And if you are an RPer yourself, looking for an urban fantasy sim, check out Convergence!

Thank you, Z, for all that you have done and strive for.

Scales: Comparison...

I like comparing things. And in this case, I think the pictures will speak clearly enough on their own.

All depends on what you need and are looking for, right?

EDIT:

Instead of making a new post, I'm going to add this here. Take a look at the Brown Dragon Scales on a variety of 'natural' colored skins...

Enjoy.

For Aeva Heartsick Benefit Fair...

For the past bit I've been amazingly excited as I get ready for this fair. Partly it's being part of the fair, partly it's helping a wonderful creator, and partly it's being able to FINALLY release my Dragon Scales tattoo. So come on down and grab your own set, or use the gatcha to try and get something random (and when I say rare? I mean... rare...). Location: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Adjewelation/51/53/23

My stall at the benefit! Yay!
When the event came up, I excitedly mentioned it to a good friend of mine. She was so excited as well, that she also jumped into creation and made a set of shapes. There are four ages for female, and four ages for male. She features skins from Aeva (where she can) as well as some of the Dragon Scales. And she asked to be right next to me. That's friendship for ya...

Right next door, one of my good friends.
As an amazing surprise and bonus in my opinion, Amesha also released new skins for the event. But not only are there new skins... Ten of the new skins are in fantasy colors. And the yellow and orange? Amazing with my gold scales. The purple? Couldn't be better. And here's the best part (at least for the lady avs...) four cleavage options... 100L. They also include appliers for mesh breasts and some other bits and pieces. Not to mention her other new amazing skins.

100L for a fantasy skin of Awesome. Win.

Excited yet? Swing by. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Adjewelation/51/53/23 And if I'm there, feel free to give a shout out! I'm also up for demoing any of the scales or other tattoos I have in person, so just let me know. I'm excited to see everyone there, and sorry if I miss ya.

MerScales: Comparison & Preview:Scale Series

I'm working on another scale tattoo. I'm having fun with it, but realized an important question... What color should I make it? So I went to see what color of my mer scales seemed to be enjoyed the most. Answer: White. By a long shot. I assume that this is because of the ability to color tint to specific needs. To investigate this, I did a number of snapshots. I did the tattoo layer white, then tinted undershirt, shirt, jacket and gloves to different colors, saved them, prepared for the shoot and snapped off a number of pictures. I changed the skin color and did another round of shots. Then I added the white tattoo layer as a background with the clothing layers over the top and did another series. And finally I did a series with the original mer scale types.

Black skin. Dark red tint, bright red tint, blue tint and medium purple.
I did wait for them to rez in. Somehow, there is still a lot of detail lost.

Same as above, but with the white tattoo under to boost the difference.

The originals, found on marketplace.

Which is better... tinted scales, or the originals? Your call. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/60609

Also, Preview! A new series of scaling, going from barely scaled to almost completely. Colors to be released? Not sure yet. What would you like to see? Answering may even win you a free set in the color of your choice! Leave a comment OR drop a notecard in world to Eve Gaelyth with color preference (see the color choices in the mer selections) and your SL name.
