New Release! ... Kinda.

If you know me at all, or just look at my profile, you'll see that I am an RPer. RP is really where I started with my tattoo creation, and it's where I continue to look for ideas even today. The concept was to create tattoos that could be used on any skin to allow people to create their favorite fantasy avs in a way that might otherwise be out of their reach simply do to the cost of (often amazing) fantasy skins. Skins are HARD if you didn't know, and very worthy of the price asked for them. That said, I didn't want limited funds to prevent RPers from playing certain races.

To this day, my hallmark items are my scales. And, yes, in the future, there is yet another scale item that will be coming. 

However, as I said, I'm an RPer. 

So as a way to give back to the community that has given me so much, I have created a special edition of some select tattoos. The color set is inspired from the sim itself.

Product Information:

All packs sold on the Marketplace will include Omega, System and TMP. Because Slink and Maitreya can be applied via Omega, I did not see reason to make extra appliers (though I can given time and a special request). Per norm and original, all tattoos are Unisex. (Don't know Omega? Look here! )

New Dragon

- 12 unique tattoos.

- 6 regular or faint, 6 heavy or dark (so two fade levels of each tattoo)

- Scales are Purple (made from purple/silver), Blue (made from blue/brown) and Metallic (brown/silver). Two versions of each, plus two fade levels.

- 6 unique tattoos.

- Scales are Purple (made from purple/silver), Blue (made from blue/brown) and Metallic (brown/silver). Two versions of each.

Faun Spots

- 3 unique tattoos

- Each tattoo is made of two colors. Purple/Silver, Blue/Brown, Silver/Brown.

- Face (from simple spots styling, omega and system), torso and legs.

Tiger Stripes (Two Tone)

- 6 unique tattoos

- Each tattoo is made of two colors. Purple/Silver, Blue/Brown, Silver/Brown.

- Each version has regular and 'faded'.

- Torso and legs only.

Runner Paint (Special)

- 4 unique tattoos

- Combination of normal 'Runner Paint' styles for a special release style.

- Four colors: Purple, Brown, Silver, Blue.

- Face (omega and system), torso and legs.

Because of the kind sponsorship of a friend, Eglantine Broome ( <3 ), I am able to offer these tattoos with 100% going to the sim to assist with funding a new sim and build. These tattoos will only be available for a limited time. How long? I haven't decided yet.

I will also do the following alterations. Simply buy the original product, then send a polite IM or NC with the request of which tattoo and what alteration you would like. If you would like it in TMP, it will be added to the existing style mode hud, and there will be an additional 10L charge, due to the extra cost of creating a preview image. Please understand, while these alterations can be quick, I am often in the middle of something else so it may take awhile, though rarely more than 48 hours.

New Releases: Winter Expo

December 4th through the 15th will be the 'Christmas Expo and Winter Breedables Fair'. Now, I'm not a breedables merchant, as you know, but I do like to be part of fairs and events. This one is meant to benefit Relay For Life, just as the Fantasy Fair does in the summer. So, for this event, I have two new and exclusive items out. After the event ends, these items will disappear! (Hence the 'Exclusive'.)

As you can see, I stayed more true to my fantasy side, and went with the 'winter' more than the 'Christmas'. Both the av set (hair not included) and the dragon scales set are 200L each with all of that going straight to RFL. I also have at silent auction the chance for the winner bidder to get three scale tattoos made to their custom request. That's right, if you are a fan of the mer, dragon or scaling series tattoos (including normal or revealed), you can get a set made in your own colors of choice! Get it to match scaling that you already have for an av, or get a color that you have always wanted...

I also am putting 'gift' packages for sale up in the in world shop. Simply click as if to buy and peer at the contents. They are at a discounted price too, making them perfect for gifting.

Genre! Androgynous

Slowly getting back into the swing of things, and that means... GENRE! This time around, the theme is 'androgynous'. At first I was like 'that is a near free for all because almost everything I do is unisex'. But, of course, unisex and androgynous aren't exactly the same thing. So I undertook something I'd long considered but never done due to the number of creators that do it better... I made a skin.

Looking around, there aren't really alot/any androgynous fantasy colored skins. Which feels odd, because it seems like the non-human races are more likely to be androgynous or non-gender...

Either way, I made a skin. It's still getting tweaked but will be done in a variety of colors coming in the future, so feel free to give a shout out if there's something you'd like to see done. I also made an 'add on' pack that has some of the things you might expect from me -- dragon scales and freckles in this case -- that are color matched to the skin. (Note: a new version of fantasy freckles will probably be released shortly.)

Medieval Fantasy Fair 4

Hello everyone!

I know, I know, long time no post. This year is proving to not be the nicest to me, and this summer was RL work mixed in with it all. That means little time for creation. But as the summer comes more to an end (at least for those in my part of the world...) I'm able to work in events once more and bring out some new things.

So! Starting midnight SL tonight (basically tomorrow), the fourth Medieval Fantasy Fair is open!

I don't have anything huge and new (see the above time management issues) but I was able to get at least one new item, a new hunt item and a gacha item out. You can get the group gift version of the hunt item from the subscriber in world, so make sure that you are joined. The more time I have and more things I release, the more special versions go out to followers.

I also able to do Slink appliers. This means hands and feet, but also the new mesh body. And, due to a recent request, I can do the 'Cute Azz' applier as well. And the Lola applier, but that one I have had for a little bit. (The Mesh Project said that I should be getting a group invite once they have my page set up, so hopefully soon, that as well.) If you have any specific requests, things you would like turned into appliers and what not, there is a 'mail box' in the shop in world. Just drop in a NC with the request and your name, and I'll reply as soon as I can. (This applies to events, tattoos you would like to see and what not as well.)

Fantasy Faire & New Releases

Fantasy Faire.

New Release: Monochrome Dragon Scales

I've seen a few requests, so I finally took the time and went ahead and did it. Now I have more than simple 'grey' for those dragon scale lovers, I have the 'monochrome set'. Black, BlackWhite (which is the black with more white, basically) and White.

I also added a skin hider for the lower part of the body to be the companion to the nipple hiders already in the store.

For Aeva Heartsick Benefit Fair...

For the past bit I've been amazingly excited as I get ready for this fair. Partly it's being part of the fair, partly it's helping a wonderful creator, and partly it's being able to FINALLY release my Dragon Scales tattoo. When the event came up, I excitedly mentioned it to a good friend of mine. She was so excited as well, that she also jumped into creation and made a set of shapes. There are four ages for female, and four ages for male. She features skins from Aeva (where she can) as well as some of the Dragon Scales. And she asked to be right next to me. That's friendship for ya...

As an amazing surprise and bonus in my opinion, Amesha also released new skins for the event. But not only are there new skins... Ten of the new skins are in fantasy colors. And the yellow and orange? Amazing with my gold scales. The purple? Couldn't be better. And here's the best part (at least for the lady avs...) four cleavage options... 100L. They also include appliers for mesh breasts and some other bits and pieces. Not to mention her other new amazing skins.

100L for a fantasy skin of Awesome. Win.

Update, Gatcha, Previews...

You ever have those moments that you almost hit yourself int he forehead going 'why did I not realize this before?!' and feel like a real idiot?

Yeah, I had one of those today.

My L account this week has been running really low, so I haven't been able to purchase the last skins I wanted to be able to match scales to them before the Heartsick event. (Long story short, see past links, the event is bumped to the start of May, details : http://foraevaheartsick.wordpress.com/ ) And as I want to have as much done and ready for the event and the amazing release of my Dragon Scales series, I was starting to be a hint panicked.

I was pondering the chances of getting something from Aeva for matching purposes when my forehead hitting moment came. She has demos. D'oh! So! While I may not have the full skins to prove how wonderfully they all blend and all, I do have the demos and will show you, here, how perfectly made for her color schemes they are (though they will work with a variety, I assure you).

Now, on another note...

I won't be releasing the full dragon scales set until the benefit. I also know I don't have a lot of people that follow this blog regularly. So I'm opening up a small pre-release treat. Gatcha.

Full Dragon Scale sets will be copy/mod/no trans, include all clothing layers and in the future, I may even build 'kits' that people can purchase to assist in creating a dragon av (namely, horns color matched and a full perm texture of the scales for tails. Wings too, if I get ambitious or someone wants to sponsor just such a project...) The Gatcha is JUST a tattoo, no copy/mod/trans... so that in true Gatcha fashion you can swap as you like with others, gift to friends and try for that uncommon or rare. Also, the rainbow? Likely to only be in the Gatcha, unless I have a high request for it (::snort::).

New Release: Reptile Scales

So in my previous post I showed the Dragon Scales I will have for 'Just Heartsick', the benefit that will be held this month for Amesha Jewell of Heartsick skins. Once that benefit starts up, I'll snap some photos of the images for sale and post a LM so that anyone who wants can come and take a look. If you are a designer and would like to offer something, ping me, I'll get you the NC.

But... prior to all that, was the preview of my Reptile Scales. Today, I was bored. And I realized that while I normally erase and hate seams on skins like the plague, this time, they don't show up as much. So, I decided that I would do the tattoo with the seams and complete effect. Copy/Mod and done in white, per norm, so that you can color tint to the skin they are used on. These I think will be included in my Dragon Scales Tattoo for 'Just Heartsick' cause I can. for now, here's a preview.

Preview: Dragon Scales

For some people, they create content on SL as a hobby. Others make things because they aren't out there. Some make them for casual income, others to support SL habits and some for RL income.

Amesha Jewell of Heartsick ( http://aeva-heartsick.blogspot.co.uk/ ) is one of the last. There's a number of content creators within SL that I like to support. Mostly it is those that are kind and generous and thankful to their customers. They are also those that tend to give a lot for paying a lot. Amesha is one of those creators.

When a group notice and quite plea went out to the members of the Heartsick group because of the dying computer and need to get a new one, I could relate to the story. At first, I was going to make a set of tattoos dedicated to her skins in the hopes of generating some income for her to help out. Then, the skins I had intended to base this around were removed...

... I wasn't sure how I wanted to move forward then. I still knew the tattoo I wanted to make. I still knew that what you got for buying the fantasy skins was well worth the price. I also knew I didn't have the L to buy all the fantasy skins that were available. It was a minor impasse.

It was then late last night that chat for the group opened up with another SLer asking about designers. An SLer that was working with Amesha and had decided to help by putting together a fundraiser. And so, a solution presented itself.

I will be one of however many designers end up in this benefit. We are being asked to have one item that will be put up for 100L. The hope is that with enough sales and proceeds from the event, this content creator will be able to continue creating, gifting content, and be able to make a RL income from SL.

More information about the event will be posted as it comes up, and likely a post with images of all the items being offered. (Fingers crossed...)

Each set is colored to the skin shown, and will work best with those colors. Placing on a natural colored skin will show the color of the scales more prominently. Unisex. Clothing layers will also be included.  Other color requests will be taken, and plans for red and green are already slated. Also will be considering selling 'Dragon Building Kits' that will include scale tattoos, seamless scale texture, tail, horns and spikes if an interest becomes known.
