Hey Everyone!
Just as an update, Fantasy Faire is coming up quick, and the merchants for the event are working their butts off to try and get everything in line. If you are a merchant or know someone that would like to be a merchant for the event, check out the RFL Fantasy Faire blog, here. At this moment, they have a few spots still open, as well as apps for bloggers...
On my own front, if you haven't heard, I'm participating in the RFL Fantasy Faire and working on a few new things to offer. If you are curious to see some of the previews before the faire, I've set up a special platform, as well as a box for requests to be NC'd and dropped. I make no promises, but if you have ever wanted a specific tattoo to build an av, a special color or update on an already done tattoo, or have a series that you love and want to see something more in, now is the time to make it known. I can't promise anything, but who knows what might pop up for such an amazing and special event.
Also, if you haven't, make sure to join the subscriber and check the past notices...

Main shop: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Novazeit/244/8/2801
Also if you are part of an RP sim, or know specific merchants that often make items suitable to RP sims, a new area has opened up, with store fronts ready to rent and an info area for all variety of RP sims across the grid to get themselves known. The sim? Imagine. Swing by and take a look, and pass the word on!

Love Donna Flora! Benefit
I said previously that I was participating in this event and linked the main blog that talks about it. A Flickr has also been added with images from the different vendors and what they are selling. With over 90 or however many vendors present, and with seeing the booths along the path, be assured, this is a rather impressive fair. For my own part, I have updated one of my tattoo sets and built another tattoo set that compliments it. I also made a quick and little We Can Do It calf tattoo to help support the fundraising, and for the heck of it, made a quick little outfit. All the ad images below, as well as links to different information. Enjoy!

Preview!
I don't have very much in terms of L that I can offer to support causes or sims or people or such within SL. But I am a creator, and I do like to help. For that reason, when it became known to me that another secondlife creator was in need of funding for cancer treatment, I was willing to investigate. And after my investigation, I offered to join in.
So, later this month, I will be joining a number of other creators in the Love Donna Flora event. You can find out more here: http://lovedonnaflora.wordpress.com/
Because I want to have content special to the event, at least for the length of it, I looked to the shop as a way of gaining inspiration, then went over some other ideas I've had in the past. And... ha ha ha... oh yes.
For the event I will have my new Lace Tattoo series. They will be able to be worn on their own or matched with some elements from my ColorFade series. I will also probably have a few others ready to go, but that will depend on RL work. Check out my flickr for further previews, though a teaser is below...

Preview: Dragon Scales
For some people, they create content on SL as a hobby. Others make things because they aren't out there. Some make them for casual income, others to support SL habits and some for RL income.
Amesha Jewell of Heartsick ( http://aeva-heartsick.blogspot.co.uk/ ) is one of the last. There's a number of content creators within SL that I like to support. Mostly it is those that are kind and generous and thankful to their customers. They are also those that tend to give a lot for paying a lot. Amesha is one of those creators.
When a group notice and quite plea went out to the members of the Heartsick group because of the dying computer and need to get a new one, I could relate to the story. At first, I was going to make a set of tattoos dedicated to her skins in the hopes of generating some income for her to help out. Then, the skins I had intended to base this around were removed...
... I wasn't sure how I wanted to move forward then. I still knew the tattoo I wanted to make. I still knew that what you got for buying the fantasy skins was well worth the price. I also knew I didn't have the L to buy all the fantasy skins that were available. It was a minor impasse.
It was then late last night that chat for the group opened up with another SLer asking about designers. An SLer that was working with Amesha and had decided to help by putting together a fundraiser. And so, a solution presented itself.
I will be one of however many designers end up in this benefit. We are being asked to have one item that will be put up for 100L. The hope is that with enough sales and proceeds from the event, this content creator will be able to continue creating, gifting content, and be able to make a RL income from SL.
More information about the event will be posted as it comes up, and likely a post with images of all the items being offered. (Fingers crossed...)
So, to give a taste of what I myself will be offering up... I present, Dragon Scales.
Each set is colored to the skin shown, and will work best with those colors. Placing on a natural colored skin will show the color of the scales more prominently. Unisex. Clothing layers will also be included. Other color requests will be taken, and plans for red and green are already slated. Also will be considering selling 'Dragon Building Kits' that will include scale tattoos, seamless scale texture, tail, horns and spikes if an interest becomes known.

Preview: Reptile Scales
When a friend asked me why I hadn't finished a previously mentioned thought of dragon/reptile scales, I had no good answer beyond 'I just haven't'. This, of course, prompted me to sit down and start work on it. As always the tattoo itself is white and will come with copy/mod permissions so that you can tint it to any color your wish to match the skin that you are wearing. And, as always, I do take special requests and input. Take a look at what is to come! (XYR free fantasy skins used for the girls once again. Guys are varying locations. Tattoos were the same preset colors.)

Preview and Possible?
First, the possible.
I know that scales in a wide variety are highly sought. So I want to keep making scales that meet all possible needs. However, sometimes, getting scaling to match up at the seams is, to be blunt, a right pain in the ass. I've also seen times were people don't mind, because it's one of those things that have to be seen up close.
So, I'm considering making a line that is scaling, with smooth and easy fades, that allows the seams to be shown. As you can see. Anyone who would like this tattoo FREE!! ... Drop me a NC/IM stating that you would like the 'Scale Fade Series' and what base color scales you would like. (I have new scale patterns to play with. There's even some with algae on them.) I might even be convinced to build a mer tail.... if someone would like to sponsor it... (I'm a cheap sponsor. I promise.)
Now, for the PREVIEW...
I had an idea. Inspired even. Then promptly looked through marketplace to check that it wasn't overdone. And it's not. So! I will soon present... Fantasy Freckles...
True to my typical form, they will be copy/mod/no trans and set in white so that you can tint them to whatever color needs you may have. There will be Heavy (full body), Medium (Partial), and Light (Minimal). And, as always, you will be welcome to contact to get something customized out of it to fit your specific needs if unable to accomplish with what is provided (for example, if you decide you want a light face, medium torso and heavy legs all in one tattoo...).
Freckles should be out by the end of the week. Fading scales will be based upon demand/interest.
Have other fantasy or custom requests or ideas? Feel free to drop me a thought. If I use your idea to create a tattoo, I'll send you a copy free before posting to marketplace.

Preview: New Scales Tattoo
I'm super excited about this scale tattoo and hoping some people feel like sharing any avs they create from them. Keep watching, I might have a way for the first few buyers to get free tattoos.
The scales come in three styles. If you have a viewer 2 or later, you can use the 'add' feature to add up to three of any clothing item (such as tattoos) so you can use each style alone, or mixed together for a more filled out look.

Then, per norm, my tattoos will be copy/mod, so you can color/tint them to any special need you might have. Part of my excitement is the wonderful surprise of how adaptable this pattern is. I have others I may release later, with special preview to previous buyers. I plan to include the hex code for the tinted color I used to match the skins below, found on marketplace for 0L at:
Who's ready for this? Oh yeah.

MerScales: Comparison & Preview:Scale Series
I'm working on another scale tattoo. I'm having fun with it, but realized an important question... What color should I make it? So I went to see what color of my mer scales seemed to be enjoyed the most. Answer: White. By a long shot. I assume that this is because of the ability to color tint to specific needs. To investigate this, I did a number of snapshots. I did the tattoo layer white, then tinted undershirt, shirt, jacket and gloves to different colors, saved them, prepared for the shoot and snapped off a number of pictures. I changed the skin color and did another round of shots. Then I added the white tattoo layer as a background with the clothing layers over the top and did another series. And finally I did a series with the original mer scale types.
Which is better... tinted scales, or the originals? Your call. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/60609
Also, Preview! A new series of scaling, going from barely scaled to almost completely. Colors to be released? Not sure yet. What would you like to see?Answering may even win you a free set in the color of your choice! Leave a comment OR drop a notecard in world to Eve Gaelyth with color preference (see the color choices in the mer selections) and your SL name.

Preview: Techno Sleeves
Veering away from my normal tattoos and styles, I was playing about and created something I personally think of as fun. I'll set it up to marketplace after tweaking to my detail and, well, actually making the textures. May later do another version that continues on the same theme if there shows to be interest.
Follow for announcements once it's posted!

Preview: Winter Snow
Tis the season of giving, so I want to give something small and wintery to those of the community. Have a look:
A limited number will be posted later today or tomorrow. It will be free until all of them are gone, or Jan 1st, whichever comes first and after that, the price will go up. I might play around and tweak somethings or add to it after the initial freebie, but all updates will go out to buyers as well. Leave reviews, and I might be inclined to do something for the spring, with blooms of flowers.

Preview: Color Fades
I've been trying to get seams to disappear for the past two days, but I think I've finally got it close enough that I'm near ready. So, I present to you, color fades!
Put on a skin of choice, put on the white based color fading tattoo, go to edit, and tint to the preferred color. Toss on some scales or a skin tint set (or both, why not?) and you can create an even more unique color blend then before. There's no shading, so what it covers, it covers, but there will be a few different options included to help get the perfect results.
Should be on Marketplace by the end of the week. Watch for updates!

Elements?
As of this post, no, my Fire Element hasn't gone live. That is because I thought people might like more then just a tattoo layer and I almost fell asleep at the computer the other night. ;)

But I haven't completely without follow through. I had mentioned previously that I was considering doing other elements. A quick change (or not so quick) and I have some demo type ideas for people to look at. While the tattoo is the same as the Fire, I would likely change it at least in a few places for other elements to give a tattooing that is more to that elements nature or idea. This is mostly to give an idea of a possible and how it might look. Personally, I think it's kinda cool...
