Fantasy Faire!

It's here!

And now we are past some of the starting rush as well. Below are the items that are new releases at the faire this year. Some are RFL items, some are not. I will also have a complete set of the gacha up for the silent auction, and gacha #23 & #24 as the hunt prize -- which has now started!

Bakes On Mesh (BoM), Recent Releases, and RL

Hello, hello!

It has been a bit. Part of this is that I have not been creating much, but also that this blog does not get much attention. The easiest way to remain up to date on recent :[Even~Tide]: releases is through Flickr ( https://www.flickr.com/photos/evegaelyth/ ) and subscribing in-world for updates ( http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Novazeit/244/8/2801 ). I will occasionally also send group gifts out through the subscriber. It does not take any precious group slots.

Bakes On Mesh

If you haven't yet heard, SecondLife has released 'Bakes on Mesh'. This is a feature that allows you to wear SL system layers and they will show up on your mesh body attachment -- if your mesh is updated for BoM, and your viewer is as well. Firestorm and the main SL viewer are both capable, as well as others that I am not familiar with. I do not know what bodies are currently updated except Slink and Maitreya has a temporary relay HUD that can be used until they make their full BoM release. 

When I make products for release in SL, I normally include the system layer, Omega applier, Slink applier and Maitreya applier. This is to give the widest range I reasonably can. However, because Slink and Maitreya now both do BoM, there is no longer a need for separate appliers unless I am including materials. The only exception to this is tattoos that I wish to give left arm and right arm options to. That is something that I will do for Slink (as that is an option for that body) and in Omega Evolved appliers. 

One of the wonderful things about BoM is if you are a long time SL user, you may still have in your inventory past skins and tattoos that you could no longer use when you switched to a mesh body, and now those can be used once more! I have always included system layers in my tattoo sets where I was reasonably able, to continue the accessibility for as many as possible.

Summary:

-Slink and Maitreya allow for Bakes On Mesh so you can wear system layer tattoos.

-I will only make Slink and Maitreya appliers when using materials or need a right and left option (Slink).

-Past tattoos already include system layers.

-I will continue to make system layer and Omega appliers. 

And do not even get me started on TheMeshProject (#TMP). They have new bodies out, but due to their policies and methods, I do not have a way to make tattoos for them. 

Recent Releases

As I mentioned, the best way to keep track of newer releases is to follow on Flickr or in-world. However, to show what's available since the last blog post, look below!

There were releases for Fantasy Faire, but as they are not available now, I won't tease you with them. I expect them to be in my Fantasy Faire shop in 2020 however, as I often include past exclusive releases.

Real Life

With SecondLife, we don't often share a lot about our Real Life or First Life. However, I will share that I have a major life change coming up within the week, and do not expect to have a lot of time online. I intend to continue creating and participating in events as I am able, such as Fantasy Faire in the spring, and a few rounds of We <3 RolePlay! (WLRP). I am, in fact, working on all things needed at this moment to attempt to be in the December round of the event.

'Strings of Gold' is a new tattoo with two versions - A and B. Materials enabled, so you can play and get that perfect bit of shine. Single set (A or B), 90L. Double set (A&B) 150L. 25% discount for their release! 

And, if you like them, but gold isn't your color? Worry not! I've already had a request for silver, and will release it at the latest at Fantasy Faire (whenever that is). I will also have other versions/styles that will be along this same idea, and release those with the silver, and possibly copper or bronze. And yes, faces will also be coming.

I know, I know, not exactly new, but the color is! For the Underdog Event I was a last minute fill in, and have out a number of items that I have made in the past, with the one detail of they are currently on sale for half off. Yes, yes, my Cyber Lines series and Colored Fades are ONLY 35L. There's a lot of Sci-Fi looks out there right now, so this would be a great time, and place, to pick some up!

Underdog Event Release, WiP

Hey, hey!

Two posts in one month?! Amazing, I know.

This month, however, I was accepted as a last minute add in for a newer event called 'Underdog'. This event is geared toward getting lesser known content creators highlighted and out into the open. Because I was a last minute add-on/on call, I don't have anything entirely new for the event. However, I spent a mad dash 48 hours doing some rearrangement on one of my new releases to release something that I at least love the idea of.

Can you spot the difference? These Mosaic Spot Variations offer multiple wear styles. Hips or no hips, arms or no arms! The vest doesn't come down as far, making it a different balance of the look. This is also using the Mosaic 2 breast spots, which is a bit of a better coverage. White and black options and some customization could probably be requested. ;) TMP, Omega and System included. (Slink has weird lineups and needs a different torso texture; contact me if you'd like that fitting.)

On another note, while Fantasy Faire is still months away, I want to be ahead of the game and have things ready. I also want to be taking some time to attempt a few tattoos that have eluded me for ages in getting them to look the way I want, so I'm going to be attempting those as well. However, I do have at least one Work In Progress shot for those curious, of one of the tattoos currently getting some love for a release ... somewhere in the future.

Yes I know, all the scales, right? Don't worry! I have OPTIONS planned. All the choices. Cause what better way to be suitable for my roleplayers and fantasy av builders than to give plenty of choices? Have to have some way to build what no one else will let you make.

New Release - Unmasking a Cure - RFL Event

If you are a fan of spots, then you'll like this most recent release and the ones that are likely to come with it.

Some of you may be familiar with my 'Quick Spots'. Originally, these were done, as the name implies, quickly. There are a lot of spots out on the market, and some people care about seams, and some people don't. So, just to toss something out there for those that might not be as concerned about those seams, I did Quick Spots, and gave it a price to match.

Now, forever later, I've gone back and made another set. They are small and filled in, but this time I paid special mind to the seams, arranging and rearranging to try and see that they were avoided without looking like it, to give a better over all impression. More work, more cost. But now there will be a few new versions of this, Simple Spots.

Sides will be a regular release, as a head nod to the original 'Quick Spots' style. As a Special Release, only to be seen at RFL events, are Faun - Rainbow version of the Simple Spots.

New Releases: Winter Expo

December 4th through the 15th will be the 'Christmas Expo and Winter Breedables Fair'. Now, I'm not a breedables merchant, as you know, but I do like to be part of fairs and events. This one is meant to benefit Relay For Life, just as the Fantasy Fair does in the summer. So, for this event, I have two new and exclusive items out. After the event ends, these items will disappear! (Hence the 'Exclusive'.)

As you can see, I stayed more true to my fantasy side, and went with the 'winter' more than the 'Christmas'. Both the av set (hair not included) and the dragon scales set are 200L each with all of that going straight to RFL. I also have at silent auction the chance for the winner bidder to get three scale tattoos made to their custom request. That's right, if you are a fan of the mer, dragon or scaling series tattoos (including normal or revealed), you can get a set made in your own colors of choice! Get it to match scaling that you already have for an av, or get a color that you have always wanted...

I also am putting 'gift' packages for sale up in the in world shop. Simply click as if to buy and peer at the contents. They are at a discounted price too, making them perfect for gifting.

And who knows? They might be some special surprise packages as well... So hit the subscriber in world, to get news and gifts.

Genre! Androgynous

Slowly getting back into the swing of things, and that means... GENRE! This time around, the theme is 'androgynous'. At first I was like 'that is a near free for all because almost everything I do is unisex'. But, of course, unisex and androgynous aren't exactly the same thing. So I undertook something I'd long considered but never done due to the number of creators that do it better... I made a skin.

Looking around, there aren't really alot/any androgynous fantasy colored skins. Which feels odd, because it seems like the non-human races are more likely to be androgynous or non-gender...

Either way, I made a skin. It's still getting tweaked but will be done in a variety of colors coming in the future, so feel free to give a shout out if there's something you'd like to see done. I also made an 'add on' pack that has some of the things you might expect from me -- dragon scales and freckles in this case -- that are color matched to the skin. (Note: a new version of fantasy freckles will probably be released shortly.)

Medieval Fantasy Fair 4

Hello everyone!

I know, I know, long time no post. This year is proving to not be the nicest to me, and this summer was RL work mixed in with it all. That means little time for creation. But as the summer comes more to an end (at least for those in my part of the world...) I'm able to work in events once more and bring out some new things.

So! Starting midnight SL tonight (basically tomorrow), the fourth Medieval Fantasy Fair is open!

I don't have anything huge and new (see the above time management issues) but I was able to get at least one new item, a new hunt item and a gacha item out. You can get the group gift version of the hunt item from the subscriber in world, so make sure that you are joined. The more time I have and more things I release, the more special versions go out to followers.

I also able to do Slink appliers. This means hands and feet, but also the new mesh body. And, due to a recent request, I can do the 'Cute Azz' applier as well. And the Lola applier, but that one I have had for a little bit. (The Mesh Project said that I should be getting a group invite once they have my page set up, so hopefully soon, that as well.) If you have any specific requests, things you would like turned into appliers and what not, there is a 'mail box' in the shop in world. Just drop in a NC with the request and your name, and I'll reply as soon as I can. (This applies to events, tattoos you would like to see and what not as well.)

Fantasy Faire & New Releases

Fantasy Faire.

If you are into fantasy -- Any kind of fantasy -- or simply love to see beautiful builds, enjoy shopping or exploring in Second Life, then you must.. MUST swing by the Relay For Life Fantasy Faire. Fantasy Faire is coming....

Hey Everyone!

Just as an update, Fantasy Faire is coming up quick, and the merchants for the event are working their butts off to try and get everything in line. If you are a merchant or know someone that would like to be a merchant for the event, check out the RFL Fantasy Faire blog, here. At this moment, they have a few spots still open, as well as apps for bloggers...

On my own front, if you haven't heard, I'm participating in the RFL Fantasy Faire and working on a few new things to offer. If you are curious to see some of the previews before the faire, I've set up a special platform, as well as a box for requests to be NC'd and dropped. I make no promises, but if you have ever wanted a specific tattoo to build an av, a special color or update on an already done tattoo, or have a series that you love and want to see something more in, now is the time to make it known. I can't promise anything, but who knows what might pop up for such an amazing and special event.

New Release: Crackle & Medieval Fantasy Fair

Another New Release! Not seamless, but from a distance, it's kinda hard to tell.

Like most releases, Crackle is white, copy/mod/no trans, so that you can tint to fit whatever needs you might have. There are a total of 6 tattoos (plus two head styles on one, making 8 total) included within the package. And it can (at the moment) only be found at the Medieval Fantasy Fair. (No, not the BIG Fantasy Fair. That is May 1st -11th this year.)

The above location is my store specifically. I'm in the back, but in the only section that has blue roses, so I have a great view. Click the address above.
